The Dickerson Leadership Alliance (DLA) is a
501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in memory of Bell Dickerson.

Bell Dickerson was a school teacher and a community leader. She lived her life promoting community service and helping her students, friends, and neighbors.

DLA's mission is to recognize and reward exemplary students between the ages of 5 and 18 who play a significant role in strengthening their community.

We are dedicated to inspiring and encouraging students to make meaningful contributions to their community through civic service. By educating them early, we hope they will grow into the next generation of political leaders.

Every year DLA awards scholarships to elementary, middle, and high school students in the Houston, TX area who have demonstrated civic involvement and leadership.
